Instead of giving out Christmas gifts to customers and business partners, MartinBauer supports various charitable endeavors. One of these, which MartinBauer has now supported for four consecutive years, is WERTvoll macht Schule, which is expanding its nationwide free-of-charge teaching program for schoolchildren.
This year’s donation of €5,000 is financing the design of new teaching units on Sustainability, Sustainable Action, and Consumption.
“Our family business has always striven to help shape a future fit for our grandchildren’s generation,” says Anne Wedel-Klein, CEO of the nature network and the great-granddaughter of MartinBauer’s original founder. “Throughout our history of more than 90 years, we have always stood for fairness, beneficial partnerships, and mutual respect. As a manufacturer of natural products, we have made a responsible approach to natural resources a cornerstone of our business. It is our focus on such values that connects us to WERTvoll macht Schule.”
Diana Bartl, managing director of WERTvoll macht Schule: “With this donation we are able to expand our educational program. Generous donors like MartinBauer ensure that WERTvoll macht Schule can continue growing and that our classroom program remains free of charge for schoolchildren and teachers. We are continually expanding the program through the development of new teaching units. Currently these are focusing on the wide range of topics relating to sustainability.”
